Tropical Storm Gabrielle Threatens Bermuda

Hamilton, Sep 10 (Prensa Latina) Tropical Storm Gabrielle re-formed today south of Bermuda and threatens the archipelago, weather officials said.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center reported that the storm was moving north at 14 mph (22 kph) with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph (65 kph).

Gabrielle is expected to strengthen in the next two days and pass over or near Bermuda by Wednesday morning.

Rainstorms associated with Gabrielle could cause storm surge and flooding.
