Propane Gas Plant Explosion in the U.S. Injures Seven

Washington, Jul 30 (Prensa Latina) At least seven people were injured in a series of explosions occurred at a propane plant in Florida, United States, authorities reported.

The victims were taken to nearby hospitals, said John Herrell, a spokesman for the Sheriff's Office of the Lake County in central Florida.

Herrell specified that despite strong explosions heard at the Blue Rhino facility Monday night, non of the workers died.

Initial versions indicated that there were missing among employees, but so far no deaths to report among the nearly 26 employees working on the night shift, clarified Herrell.

Blue Rhino was used to fill propane gas tanks mainly used in grills or barbecues.

The spokesman said the fire was contained and was not expected to spread to other parts of the factory.

Authorities are investigating the causes that led to the fire.
