Tropical Storm Dorian Formed West of the Atlantic

Washington, Jul 24 (Prensa Latina) Tropical storm Dorian, the fourth named in the current hurricane season, was formed Wednesday at the west of the Atlantic Ocean according to the US National Hurricane Center.

At the 11:00 local time, the center of Tropical Storm Dorian was estimated in the 14.3 degrees north and 29.9 degrees west, at 372.8 miles from the islands of Cape Verde.

Dorian has sustained maximum winds of 52.8 miles per hour, moving towards the west-northwest at a speed of 20.5 miles per hour

The NHC expects Dorian gets a bit stronger during Wednesday, to get weakened while moving on colder waters in the Atlantic.

The hurricane season started in the Atlantic on June 1st and up to now, has produced four tropical storms: Andrea, Barry, Chantal, and now Dorian.
